No Monthly Fee

We do not charge a monthly fee for account maintenance.

No Per Check Charges

Unlike some institutions that allow so many free and then start charging per-check over a certain number, United Financial lets you write as few or as many and it doesn't matter.

Free Monthly Statement

There is no monthly statement-processing fee. We will send you a statement of your Checking account free every month.

Earn Dividends

Dividends are posted on the last day of the month and are clearly itemized on your monthly statement. Dividends are earned on an average daily balance of $2,500 or more.

Fifty Free Checks

When you place your first order of checks with us (upon opening your new account), we will also order fifty checks for you for free to get you started.

Free Checks for Seniors

We offer one style of checks free of charge to members who are 65 years of age and older.

Duplicate Copies of Each Check

The checks we offer come with carbonless copies - so you'll automatically write a non-negotiable duplicate every time you issue a check. Checks are not returned on a monthly basis - so these copies serve as receipts. For a small fee, check copies may be ordered for proof of payment.

Debit/ATM Card Access

Your Checking account and Debit/ATM Card go hand in hand. In fact, you will need a United Financial Checking account in order to use the Debit/ATM Card for debit transactions.

Balance Your Account with United Financial Virtual Branch--online account management

United Financial Virtual Branch and U.S.24 will give you the status of your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can transfer funds between accounts to cover checks or debits, monitor recent activity, and even reorder checks online. It's a great compliment to your United Financial checking account! Direct Rewards Checking

Direct Rewards Checking can provide you an above market rate, plus reimburse you for ATM withdrawal surcharges you may receive from other locations.

Here is how it works!

You need to have:

  • Checking Account
  • Direct Deposit**
  • Virtual Branch
  • E-Statements
  • 12 Debit Card transactions
  • Pay 1 bill a month with Net Pay

You can:

  • Earn an above market rate on a monthly average daily balance up to $25,000 in your checking account
  • Get reimbursed for ATM withdrawal surcharge fees from other locations

Direct Rewards Checking is for Personal Accounts only.

The maximum for ATM reimbursement is $25.00 per month. Debit Card use must be signature based (using your PIN code will not qualify). Debit Card Transactions must have a minimum transaction amount of $5.00 each. Debit Card transaction must clear the account by the end of the month to qualify for the 12 transactions.

**If you receive a direct deposit of your monthly Social Security payment into your sharedraft/checking account and do not want Courtesy Pay eligibility, you will need to contact us in order to formally stop paying your overdrafts with these funds.
