United Financial Credit Union will be going through a Debit Card Conversion on March 18, 2019. We will be moving our Debit Cards to a new card provider. Cards will be switching to CO-OP during this time. With this change we will be able to provide some added benefits to our members in the future. One of these benefits will be the ability to sign up and use your Debit Card with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay! This will not be available right away, but we are hopefully to be able to implement these in 2019.

Q: Will I receive a new debit card or will my number change?
A: NO – you will keep your same Debit Card and the number will not change.
Q: Will there be a black out period that I can not use my card?
A: NO – there should not be any interruption in service for your card. You will be able to use it during the conversion.
Q: I have automatic payments set up using my debit card number, do I need to change or update those?
A: NO – because your card number or expiration date is not changing, you will not need to change your automatic payments.
Q: I use the MobiMoney App, can I still use that?
A: No, unfortunately that app will go away when we move to CO-OP on March 18. There is a new app that will work the same way though. The new app is called CardNav and is available in the app stores.
Q: I will be traveling out of state or out of the country on March 18, what should I do?
A: You can contact the Credit Union to notify us of your travel dates, your card should work just fine during that time. It is always a good idea to have a backup method of payment and/or cash on hand, just in case you need it.
Q: Will there be any changes to the fraud protection on my card?
A: No, everything will stay the same as it is today.
