CashBack+ from United Financial CU allows members to receive cash back when they purchase digital gift cards. View customized offers with varying bonus values across retail, travel, dining, and more. Simply make a purchase and instantly receive a bonus value as cash back.
The cash back will appear in your CashBack+ Wallet which can be used for other purchases or transferred back into your United Financial account within 48 hours.
CashBack+ Pay
With CashBack+ Pay, you earn instant cashback on every purchase in store or online. Download the CashBack+ Pay app from the Apple store on your phone {coming soon to other app stores} Follow the prompts after you download CashBack+ Pay to login and link your United Financial account. Have your username and password ready.
Use CashBack+ Pay to pay for your total purchase at checkout in store or online. You’ll watch your CashBack+ balance add up and you can redeem it whenever you like for extra cash.
What Are CashBack+ Actions
CashBack+ Actions allow you to earn cashback by completing specific tasks. Navigate to the CashBack+ tab in Digital Banking menu.
- Click ‘Actions’ to activate all eligible Actions.
- Follow the instructions to complete the action before it expires.
- Once completed, your earned cashback will be deposited in your CashBack+ balance on the first of the following month.

How do I get my cash back?
The best part of Cashback+ is how easy it is to use. Simply, purchase a digital gift card and instantly receive a bonus value as cash back. The cash back will appear in your CashBack+ Wallet which can be used for other gift card purchases or transferred back into your United Financial account within 48 hours.
How does CashBack+ work?
CashBack+ is an exclusive marketplace accessible within online banking that has a large variety of cash back offers from hundreds of well-loved brands. This unique benefit allows members to receive cash back when they purchase digital gift cards to do their everyday shopping. The brands are personalized to members, and the offers are updated frequently. Find CashBack+ in the Earn Reward section in the menu or add the Earn Rewards card to your dashboard.
How do I access the gift cards that I’ve previously purchased?
You can access your previously purchased gift cards either through the email confirmation or through your Cashback+ Wallet, which is accessible in the menu of the Cashback+ marketplace. In your Cashback+ Wallet you’ll be able to view all your previously purchased cards in one place.
How will I receive my digital gift card?
Once purchased, your digital gift card will immediately be available within your CashBack+ Wallet. You will also receive a confirmation email at the time of purchase to the email associated with your United Financial account. The digital gift card comes with a code that can be used online or scanned in store. Your gift card will remain in your CashBack+ Wallet until you’re ready to use it and you can then archive it within the wallet once used.
What if my gift card was sent to an email account I can no longer access?
If you no longer have access to the email account on file, please update your email address in your banking profile. Once updated, please contact United Financial CU to confirm the change and have the previous gift cards sent to your new email address.
How do I check my gift card balance?
Gift card balances can be checked via the specific brand’s website. Members can go to the brand website and enter the gift card number and pin.
Can I delete an old card?
When a member utilizes the full balance of a gift card, CashBack+ does not automatically mark the card as used. A used card cannot be deleted but it can be archived by:
1. Go to CashBack+ Digital Wallet
2. Click into a specific card to archive
3. Click Archive under the “Shop Now” button
Can I exchange my gift card?
Once a gift card is purchased, we are unable to exchange the gift card or cancel the gift card to refund your account.
Can I get a physical gift card?
CashBack+ only provides digital gift cards to ensure they can be utilized instantly, but you can always print your digital gift card. You can use the gift card Code and Pin to redeem online or if presented with a barcode, either scanned from your cellular device or printed out and presented to the cashier at the time of purchase.
How do I pay with CashBack+ Pay?
When you are shopping online and on the checkout page of a brand, you simply open the pop-up, enter your checkout amount and click to pay with your connected United Financial account. You’ll receive instant cashback as well as a gift card code to use in the gift card field to complete checkout.
If you are in-store, open the CashBack+ Pay app and choose the in-store option, enter the amount and use the gift card code displayed to pay at checkout for the exact amount of your order.
Why should I use CashBack+ Pay?
CashBack+ Pay is the most convenient way to take your cashback on the go. Download the Chrome desktop computer browser extension for online shopping and download the iPhone app on your mobile device for online and in-store offers. Never miss another offer when you’re shopping.
Can I earn cashback on all online purchases with CashBack+ Pay?
Currently, the CashBack+ Pay supports only select online retailers. The list of participating merchants will be periodically updated to provide you with the best cashback opportunities.
Do gift cards purchased through CashBack+ Pay have any fees or restrictions?
No, there are no additional fees or restrictions on digital gift cards purchase through CashBack+ Pay.
