UFirst Foundation
United Financial Credit Union is proud to announce the creation of the UFirst Foundation, 501(c)(3) a non-profit organization with the mission to support community outreach, financial education and scholarship programs.
Mission Statement:
The UFirst Foundation is committed to transforming lives through community involvement, financial education, and empowering underserved individuals. Through the partnership with United Financial Credit Union, we aim to foster financial literacy, provide scholarships and create opportunities that inspire lifelong learning and economic well-being.
Vision Statement:
The UFirst Foundation aims to be a catalyst for positive change, inspiring others to join us in a brighter future for our community by providing support, education, and opportunities for growth.
Community Outreach:
We strive to provide services and or support to any group or organization in the local community that might not otherwise have access to those services. By providing this outreach, we aim to improve awareness and offer innovative ways to reach a larger audience to meet the needs of the community in hopes of helping our local areas function better.
Scholarships:
Our scholarship program proudly offers three different scholarship opportunities: Graduating High School, Continuing Education and Skilled Trades. Scholarship applications will be available later this year. Check back for more details.
Financial Education:
Financial wellness is essential to every individual no matter their age. It is an important life skill that everyone should possess, as financial knowledge can help individuals become self-sufficient when given the skills to learn how to create a budget, track spending, pay off debt, and plan for retirement. The UFirst Foundation promises to provide Financial Literacy for all our local communities to help gain the tools they need to help make major financial life decisions.
