Whether you are in high school looking to attend college, already a college/university student, or are pursuing a career in trades, United Financial Credit Union has a scholarship option for you.
Choose the scholarship type that works best for your needs and get started on your application. We offer three opportunities for a more affordable education.
After choosing your scholarship, it is quick and easy to apply! There are only a few steps required as listed below:
- Be or become a UFCU member (must be in good standing)
- Be accepted to a college, university, or trade/craft school
- Complete the application
- Submit an Essay on the topic of “People Helping People”
- Attach verification of enrollment
The deadline for scholarship applications is March 31, 2026. Finalists for each scholarship will be contacted by April 30, 2026.
These yearly scholarships are made possible by the UFirst Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to transforming lives through community involvement, financial education, and empowering underserved individuals.
