United Financial participated in CU Lunch Local on October 18. The Credit Union bought lunch for six of their local business accounts, from six local restaurants.
“We are excited to be able to use this day to support local restaurants and to treat a few of our local businesses to lunch,” said Jessica Gwizdala, Director of Marketing at United Financial CU.
What does it mean to “participate” in CU Lunch Local? It simply means that our credit union supports small businesses and pledges to demonstrate that support by buying local on October 18. Experts estimate that every $1 spent at a local, independent business has the potential return of more than $3 in local economic and community benefits.
